Technical Sales Lead

We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Technical Sales Lead to join our sales organization.

In this role, you will be the focal point for technical aspects within sales, working closely with customers globally while collaborating internally with colleagues from different departments. Your expertise will be essential in technically closing sales opportunities and driving customer engagement.

About the Role 

As a Technical Sales Lead, you will play a crucial role in the technical engagement with customers and internal teams, ensuring smooth pre-sales processes and contributing to successful business outcomes. Your will act as the key technical interface between Sales and Customer Solutions, Product Management, and R&D - leading customer-facing technical discussions and engagements on our solutions. 

You will also: 

  • Customer facing technical lead and interface regarding pre-sales issues between Sales and Customer Solutions / Product Management / Engineering 
  • Owns the proof-of-concept & demo processes and supports local Sales & Customer Solutions organization of executing these 
  • Takes a leading role in RFI/RFQ processes by providing responses to technical requirements in collaboration with the rest of the organization 
  • Act on internal priorities for all pre-sales requests and ensure that commitments can be delivered by Customer Solutions organization 
  • Supports local Field Application Engineers in scoping technical solutions in customer projects 
  • Contributes to assess technical risks and lead improvement projects in early phases, related to customer projects 
  • Attending trade exhibitions, conferences and sales meetings 
  • Understand the competitive landscape, analyze and contribute around the value proposition of Dirac´s products. 

Who You Are 

You are a solution-oriented technical expert with a understanding of automotive audio solutions, acoustic tuning, and DSP integration. You thrive in customer-facing environments, enjoy presenting technical solutions to diverse audiences, and excel at building strong relationships with both customers and internal stakeholders. With a structured and proactive mindset, you navigate complex sales processes with ease and are passionate about translating technical capabilities into business value. Your strong communication skills, combined with a keen understanding of the competitive landscape, make you an invaluable asset to the team. 

  • Several years of experience in a customer facing technical role within automotive (beneficial: audio area) 
  • Strong presentation skills and ample experience presenting technical details to audiences of diverse technical backgrounds 
  • The business acumen and technical writing skills necessary for both responding to RFI/RFQs, and communicating with customers and prospects on an ongoing basis 
  • Demonstratable experience in problem identification and solution/value mapping 
  • A solution focused attitude and an overall customer centric approach 
  • The ability to multitask while still paying close attention to details 
  • Willingness to travel 
  • Strong people skills and a team player 
  • Flexible time allocation, based on the nature of a global operation 
  • Fluent in English 
  • Leadership skills: capable of leading, training and motivating sales representatives.  
  • Has a valid work permit or citizenship allowing them to work in Sweden 

 Beneficial

  • Experience of acoustic tuning and/or chipset DSP integration and/or embedded computing

Location    

Your main location will be at Dirac’s headquarters in central Uppsala, Sweden but we embrace a hybrid work format. Living with commuting distance to Uppsala is an advantage.
