We are looking for a software developer to join our Home & Pro product development team at Dirac. If you are eager to work with cutting-edge audio technologies and contribute to innovative audio solutions, this role is for you. You will work on the Dirac Live end-user application that helps bring our latest flagship technologies to market, including Dirac Live Active Room Treatment (ART), now available on several leading OEMs.

Key responsibilities

As a software developer for Dirac Live, you will join an agile product team of passionate developers and audio enthusiasts. You will contribute to the solution’s end-user application, including design, implementation, testing, and evaluation of the front-end. You will be key in integration, testing, and release. Most of the implementation is in C++ and the application is released for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android. The team also releases plug-ins for digital audio workstations. This code is written in JUCE and is also part of your responsibilities.

  • Develop the Dirac Live application for desktop and mobile
  • Implement new features, as well as testing and maintenance of the existing applications
  • Implement the user interfaces using Qt QML and JUCE
  • Configure and evaluate the complete solution using audio equipment in our audio labs
  • Assist the product manager to refine complex and large work items into smaller, valuable and estimated user stories
  • Assist with 2nd-line customer support

Who you are

  • Master of Science in Computer Science, Engineering Physics or a related field
  • 2+ years of industry experience of UI development
  • Experience building cross-platform applications for desktop and mobile
  • Programming experience and proficiency in C++
  • A team-oriented attitude, as well as the ability to work independently
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English
  • Valid work permit or citizenship that allows you to work in Sweden and Denmark

Desired qualifications

  • Programming experience with Qt QML or similar languages
  • Strong passion for audio, and experience setting up audio systems for recording and mixing audio
  • Experience with relevant software engineering tools for CI/CD (Git, CMake, Conan)
  • Experience with agile development
  • Experience collaborating on UI/UX and product design
  • Familiarity with signal processing

Location

The preferred location will be at Dirac’s R&D office in Copenhagen, but our HQ in Uppsala is an option.
