Application Development Team

Key responsibilities

As a software engineer for Dirac Live, you will join an agile product team of passionate developers and audio enthusiasts. You will contribute to the solution’s end-user application, including design, implementation, test, and evaluation of the front-end. You will be key in integration, testing, and releasing. Most of the implementation is in C++ and the application is released for Windows, MacOS, iOS and Android. The team also releases plug-ins for digital audio workstations. This code is written JUCE and is also part of the responsibilities.

  • Develop the Dirac Live application for desktop and mobile
  • Implement new features as well as testing and maintenance of existing application
  • Implement the user interface using Qt QML
  • Configure and evaluate the complete solution using audio equipment in our audio labs
  • Assist the product owner to refine complex and large work items into smaller, valuable and estimated user stories
  • Assist with 2nd line customer support

Who you are

  • Master of Science in Computer Science, Engineering Physics or a related field
  • 2+ years of industry experience of GUI development
  • Experience of building cross platform applications for desktop and mobile
  • Programming experience and proficiency in C++
  • A team-oriented attitude, as well as the ability to work independently
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English
  • Valid work permit or citizenship that allows you to work in Denmark

Desired qualifications

  • Programming experience with Qt QML or similar languages
  • Strong passion for audio, and experience setting up audio systems for recording and mixing audio.
  • Experience with relevant software engineering tools for CI/CD (Git, CMake, Conan)
  • Experience with agile development.
  • Familiarity with signal processing

Location
