Your role as Head of Product
We are looking for a Head of Product with a true business and customer-oriented approach i.e. with substantial experience working with product planning/ management from software companies. This is a holistic role, where you will lead the product strategy while also being hands-on in shaping processes and building the team. As Head of Product, you will be at the forefront of shaping our product strategy, go-to-market product offering and long-term roadmap, as well as our products processes.
Your role will involve leading the development of a team of product planners and product managers, driving and delivering a product strategy that aligns with the company’s overall vision and business, and capitalizes on market trends, needs, and opportunities. You will report directly to the CEO and be part of the Management Team.
Key responsibilities
You will be instrumental in driving domain knowledge and balancing both an outside-in and inside-out perspective in our products. By deeply understanding our cutting-edge technology and the unique opportunities it creates, you will ensure our solutions meet real-world needs while aligning with market opportunities.
- Develop and drive the product strategy and processes, ensuring alignment with company goals and market trends
- Build and lead the product team, equipping them to execute effectively on strategy and priorities
- Define and prioritize product development needs, balancing resources with business goals, including end-of-life planning
- Shape product offerings through packaging, licensing models, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure successful launches
- Stay close to customers, markets, and technology trends to maintain a value-driven product strategy
Who you are
You are a senior professional with 10+ years of experience in product management and/or product planning/development with substantial experience in software companies and you have a deep interest in audio. You demonstrate technical skills and possess the knowledge necessary to effectively navigate technical challenges, while also being confident in delving into business discussions.
You excel at translating strategic goals into actionable plans. You are the person who gets things done, makes clear decisions and sets clear expectations – all while maintaining strong collaboration with both the Engineering and Commercial organizations, always with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Have substantial experience in software companies and the product development processes
- Have a deep interest in audio
- Exhibits a strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to critically assess and improve products and processes
- Have the ability to develop in-depth understanding of user needs and market trends
- Demonstrates excellent business acumen and a keen understanding of business principles
- Possess exceptional communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective work with cross- functional teams, including engineering, sales and marketing.
- Have experience from working in an international environment with international customers
- Hold a valid work permit in Sweden and have the ability to travel internationally without restrictions
It’s an advantage if you have
- Domain knowledge in Audio within Automotive and Home Audio

Location
Your main location will be at Dirac’s headquarters in central Uppsala, Sweden but we embrace a hybrid work format. Living with commuting distance to Uppsala is an advantage.
