This role is central in positioning Dirac as a profitable growth company and a global leader in audio technology for Automotive and Home audio. Partnering with the rest of our leadership team, you will navigate the financial complexities of scaling internationally and support our vision with well-founded financial strategies. Our current CFO, with several years in the company, will be retiring and remain available during a transitional period — offering valuable support to ensure a smooth onboarding and handover. Looking ahead, the company is exploring a possible IPO as part of our growth strategy.

Key responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership
- Develop and execute financial strategies that support Dirac’s growth and market leadership.
- Take the lead on key financial initiatives, including ensuring compliance, supporting investor relations, and managing financial due diligence — with support from the current CFO during a transitional period.
- Oversee all financial planning, budgeting, cash flow and forecasting, ensuring data-driven decision making.
- Ensure compliance with international financial regulations (IFRS, tax laws, and reporting standards).
- Responsible for insurance and contract management.
Financial & Board administration
- Prepare and present financial reports and risk assessment to the Board, CEO and executive team.
- Manage board meeting preparations, including financial documentation, meeting minutes, and governance support.
- Ensure best practices in corporate governance and financial transparency.
Investor Relations & Capital Markets
- In collaboration with the CEO, build and maintain strong relationships with investors, analysts, and regulatory bodies.
- Drive equity and debt financing strategies to support business growth and post-IPO stability.
- Effectively communicate Dirac’s financial vision and performance to external stakeholders.
Compliance
- Establish and oversee internal controls, compliance policies, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure the company adheres to financial regulations in preparation for a public listing.
- Lead financial due diligence in strategic partnerships and M&A activities.
Leadership
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team.
- Drive a culture of financial discipline, efficiency, and innovation across the organization.
- Overall responsibility for the IT department.
This is a hands-on CFO role, working closely with the Finance team which currently includes an Accountant, and a Financial Controller based in Sweden. Payroll is outsourced, and accounting is managed by external providers in the subsidiaries. You will also be responsible for overseeing the IT department, as well as managing company insurance and contract administration.
As Group CFO, you will also serve as a board member in our subsidiaries, contributing to strategic direction and governance.
Who you are
We are seeking a CFO with high integrity, a transparent and engaging leadership style, sharp business acumen, and excellent communication skills.
By bringing experience as a CFO or senior financial executive with a proven track record of leading companies through IPO preparations, public listings, or large-scale capital market transactions, you are able to look beyond the numbers to identify both opportunities and risks.
You feel confident in presenting complex financial information, both internally and externally. With a proactive, structured, and methodical mindset, you set determined goals and have a proven track record of achieving them. You enjoy being hands-on in your role while actively engaging others to ensure the best possible processes and outcomes.
As a leader, you build trust and stability to consistently pushing boundaries to enhance financial strategy and drive outstanding growth, long-term profitability and success for your team and the company.
- A university degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA is a plus.
- 10+ years of senior financial leadership, ideally with experience in tech-driven industries.
- IPO experience.
- Experience in managing investor relations and fundraising.
- Strong understanding of board administration, compliance, and financial governance.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate complex financial strategies effectively.
- Proven experience in group accounting and financial consolidation.
- Experience with board portals such as Admin Control is a plus.
- Holds a valid work permit or citizenship allowing you to work in Sweden.

Location
Your main location will be at Dirac’s headquarters in central Uppsala, Sweden. We embrace a hybrid work format but living within commuting distance to Uppsala is an advantage since you are expected to be on site 2 days a week.
