We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join Dirac’s Product team and help shape the future of sound experiences. In this role, you will translate our advanced audio technology into intuitive and consistent user experiences across our platforms. As we continue to grow, we see a clear opportunity to elevate usability, consistency, and the overall user experience – and you will play a key role in driving that transformation.

What Dirac offers you

Our best-in-class technology has given us a customer base that includes many of the world’s most reputable brands. We are on an exciting journey of growth and scale, driven by our ambition to deliver the ultimate audio experience that transforms how the world listens. We offer a highly entrepreneurial environment and a modern workplace that supports flexibility and work-life balance.

What you will do at Dirac

As a Senior Product Designer, you will shape how users experience our products end-to-end across mobile apps, desktop tools, and B2B integrations. This includes both improving existing solutions and contributing to new product development through great design.

You will work across multiple product areas and collaborate closely with Product Managers, Researchers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to solve real user problems and improve how our products are used and understood. This is not just about improving visuals or individual features. The goal is to raise the overall quality of how our products are experienced, making them easier to understand, more consistent, and more efficient for our users.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead user-centered design work by translating user needs, business goals, and technical capabilities into concepts, flows, wireframes, and high-quality user interfaces
  • Drive user-centered design across both discovery and delivery, using research, data, and testing to inform decisions and continuously improve product outcomes
  • Establish and evolve best practices, methods, and ways of working for user- and data-driven design across the organization
  • Take ownership of design quality and user experience across product areas, driving measurable improvements in usability, consistency, and overall product experience
  • Ensure a cohesive and scalable design language across products, platforms, and touchpoints
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers and other relevant stakeholders to define product direction, user value, and ensure high-quality implementation
  • Facilitate workshops, usability testing, and rapid prototyping to explore and validate solutions
  • Act as a design partner to the Head of Product, supporting and coaching Product Managers in integrating user-centered and experience-driven thinking into product decisions
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to ensure a consistent and effective user experience across the full product offering

Who you are

You are an experienced Product Designer with a strong user focus to turn complex problems into innovative solutions. You combine visual design skills with a deep understanding of user experience and product thinking. You are comfortable working in cross-functional teams and thrive in a collaborative and fast-moving environment.

  • +5 years of experience designing digital products, ideally across mobile and desktop platforms and the full product lifecycle, from discovery and prototyping to final UI and implementation
  • Strong visual design skills combined with a solid UX foundation, with a portfolio demonstrating how you have improved usability and product outcomes
  • Experience working with user- and data-driven design processes, including establishing and driving best practices
  • Ability to simplify complex workflows into intuitive and engaging user experiences, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in Figma (or similar tools) for UI design, prototyping, and collaboration
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across disciplines
  • Fluent in English, our corporate language
  • Holds a valid work permit or citizenship allowing you to work in Sweden

It´s a bonus if you are

  • Experienced in audio, media, or embedded systems (hardware/software environments)
  • Experienced with both B2B and B2C products
  • Have used AI as part of the design methodology and process (e.g. for ideation or prototyping)

Location

Your main location will be at Dirac’s headquarters in central Uppsala, Sweden. We offer a hybrid work model but living with commuting distance to Uppsala is an advantage.
